Do you store my voice recordings or transcripts?
You choose. With Privacy Mode ON (the default), we keep nothing—no audio, no transcripts. With Privacy Mode OFF, your transcripts sync to the cloud so you can access them across devices, but they're never sold or used for AI training.
What is Privacy Mode and how does it work?
Privacy Mode is a setting in Settings → Data & Privacy that gives you zero data retention. When it's on, your dictation data isn't stored on our servers. When it's off, your transcripts sync across devices. You can toggle it anytime.
Where is my data stored?
Vibe Read is operated by Summer Engine, headquartered in Denmark, European Union. Your data is stored in secure EU data centers and protected by GDPR—among the strictest privacy regulations in the world.
What about my saved articles and bookmarks?
Your content library (articles, bookmarks, highlights) is always synced to the cloud so you can access it anywhere. Privacy Mode only controls dictation transcripts—your most sensitive voice data.
Can I delete all my data?
Yes. You can delete your dictation history in Settings → Data & Privacy. To delete your entire account and all associated data, go to Settings → Account or contact us. We'll remove everything within 30 days.
Do you use my data to train AI models?
No. We never use your dictations, articles, or any personal content to train AI models. Our AI providers are also contractually prohibited from using your data for training.
